تقریباً ۱۰۰ تن شمش طلا در سال گذشته به ارزش ۸ میلیارد دلار وارد کشور شده است. این مقدار در حالی وارد شده است که پیشتر گمرک اعلام کرده بود که حجم تجارت کشور در سال گذشته ۱۳۰ میلیارد و ۲۱۹ میلیون دلار بوده است.
According to information obtained from the Customs Office by the Fars News Agency, 100 tons of gold bars worth $8 billion were imported into the country last year. This importation occurred at a time when the Customs Office had announced that the country’s trade volume had reached $130.2 billion last year, an 11.3% increase from the previous year.
In explaining the preliminary report of Iran’s foreign trade in the past year, Frooz Gholamali Afshari, deputy minister of economy and head of the Iranian Customs Office, stated that the country’s non-oil foreign trade volume reached $130.2 billion in 2023, a 11.39% increase from the previous year.
Afshari noted that the weight of the country’s non-oil foreign trade in this period was 191.2 million tons, showing a 7.63% increase compared to the same period last year.
He added that the total non-oil foreign trade in this period amounted to $57.844 billion in exports (excluding oil, electricity, technical services, and trade in luggage) and $72.375 billion in imports, an increase of 15.62% and 8.22% respectively compared to the same period last year.
According to Afshari, non-oil exports in this period increased by 10% in terms of weight, while imports decreased by 1% in this period.
