According to the latest news, the second phase of the electronic Kalabarg plan has started on March 30, 2023, with the transfer of funds to the accounts of the guardians of families covered by welfare organizations (Social Welfare Organization and Imam Khomeini Relief Committee). The second stage of the second phase was implemented on April 20, 2023, for the first to third income groups. The fourth to seventh income groups will be able to use the allocated credit for purchasing basic goods at 350,000 tomans per person from April 27, 2023.

The plan aims to support the living standards of covered families and strengthen their food basket. Based on this, the first to third income groups will receive 500,000 tomans per person, and the fourth to seventh income groups will receive 350,000 tomans per person. This credit can be used to purchase 11 types of basic goods, including dairy products, protein, and grains.

The features of the electronic Kalabarg plan are as follows:

* Covered families can purchase the specified goods based on their needs.
* There is no limit to the quantity of each purchased good, and no specific brand is required. If the purchase exceeds the allocated credit, the remaining cost must be paid by the buyer.
* Families can make multiple purchases and do not need to use the entire allocated credit at once.
* The electronic Kalabarg credit is valid until the end of May 2023.
* Buyers can choose products from various producers.
* The plan will be implemented in over 230,000 retail, wholesale, and 11 chain stores (Afgh Korosh, Atka, Jannbo, Daily Market, Refah, Gandom, Minomart, Hypermart, Haft, Shirin Asal, and Valmart).

Covered families can use the application “You” from service providers such as “Bazaar” and “Micot” to view available stores and check their remaining credit balance. They can also use the command code #1463500 to check their remaining credit. The center of contact 021-6369 is available to answer questions and requests from covered families.

To facilitate the process of becoming aware of the remaining credit, the following changes will be made as of March:

* In addition to the existing option through the command code #1463500 and the “You” program, the remaining credit balance will be sent via SMS to the guardians of families through the V. Refah service.

This decision aims to reduce the number of visits by covered families to the command code #1463500 and the “You” program. The SMS will only include the remaining credit balance and will not contain any links.
